European Import, Soccer Golf

On Hold Temporarily: Will be up and running in the spring of 2012

New for 2012, Red Surge is pleased to offer Canadians a taste of a new European sport with our own version of football-golf, Cowboy Soccer Golf!!!   Football golf has become a very popular sport in a number of northern European countries, including Sweden, Denmark and Germany.  Soccer Golf is a unique combination of soccer, golf and mini-golf.  It offers participants the competitive rush of golf scoring with the relative simplicity of kicking a soccer ball around a challenging 9 or 18 hole course.

Red Surge Cowboy Soccer Golf presently offers 9 challenging holes including a tire barrier for the par 5 #1 hole, a very difficult sand pile par 4 at #5 and the intriguing bank/off #7 par 3.  All our testers have enjoyed the challenge and the soccer coaches among them feel the course provides unique practice opportunities.  For some holes you need some power, but in all cases a fine touch with the ball makes for lower scores.

In the last World Championship the European course boasted a final hole requiring players to kick the ball into the back of a Mercedes.  Red Surge intends to give our course a truly western flavour with a ninth hole finale involving kicking the ball into the back of a the cowboys' mobile kitchen, a chuckwagon.  We will be including in the final nine holes of our course a lucky horseshoe cup, a tipi teaser, an outlaw noose and a chuckbox challenge.  Come and try it out.  We know you'll have a great time.

Soccer Golf Free through May 15, 2010

Because of delays in constructing the course, Red Surge will be continuing free Cowboy Soccer Golf games through until May 15.  We are inviting players to come out and try our soccer golf field absolutely free of charge.  You will have to make an appointment on a course and give us updates on how your session went.  We had a nice big group out to try the course in late April.  They had a great time and gave us some valuable feedback which we will be implementing as soon as possible.
