Report from our 2009 First Annual Halloween Shoot-Out

Report from our 2009 First Annual Halloween Shoot-Out

Doug & Patti Nelson and Red Surge Battlefield Live are pleased to report that our Red Surge Halloween Shoot-Out was a bone-tingling success!  Our Grain Town light system worked well and our new scenario, Stalag 13, The Great Escape, seemed to go over well.  Not many Allied Escapees made it safely to the Church because of relentless pressure from the German Guards.  Unfortunately, because of the lack of light we only have a few group photos of the occassion.  We hope to do another night session around Christmas/New Years.  If you are interested in participating, give us a call.

Our creepy new Halloween-specific challenge, The Bone Box, worked out well, although we had a few players who were reluctant to reach down and touch!  A good selection of Halloween costumes graced our field that evening, and we had one group drive all the way up from Sparwood, B.C. to participate in the festivities.

As always, reservations will be required to join us for our proposed Christmas/New Year's Bash.  As with Halloween, we will be looking at mixing and matching smaller groups to be able to host as many players as possible.  If the demand is sufficient, we may even have two or three evenings of fun.  If the weather holds up it could be a great holiday shoot-up.   There are a limited number of spots available, and we do hope you, your family and friends will be able to join us for another special occassion.
